Hurghada International Airport is one of the most important airports on Egypt’s Red Sea coast and consists of two main terminals:
- Terminal 1: Old terminal, mainly used for domestic flights
- Terminal 2: Modern terminal opened in 2014, mainly used for international flights

Terminal 2 (Main Terminal)
Terminal 2 is the airport’s main terminal, opened in 2014, with major renovation work completed in 2021. Details of this modern terminal:
Ground Floor (0) – Arrivals Floor
Passenger Flow (Arrival):
- Disembarking from an airplane

- Arrival hall (Meeters & Greeters area)
Control and Processing Points:
- Arrival Visa Counters: Just before entering passport control, on the left side of the main corridor
- Passport Control Counters: At the end of the arrival corridor, 20 passport control points (1-10 for Egyptian citizens, 11-20 for foreign passengers)
- Baggage Delivery Bands: After passport control, 8 bands (numbered 1-8)
- Customs Control Zone: At the exit from the baggage claim area, divided into Green and Red lines
- Lost Property Office: On the opposite side of the baggage claim area, in line with lanes 3 and 4

- Information Desk: In the center of the arrival hall, opposite the main exit doors
- Foreign Exchange Offices:
- National Bank of Egypt: On the left side of the main exit gates
- Banque Misr: On the right side of the main exit doors

Terminal 1 (Old Terminal)
Terminal 1 is the older terminal of the airport and is mainly used for domestic flights and some charter flights. It is less modern and smaller than Terminal 2.
